The NRA Personal Protection In The Home course is an advanced defensive handgun class designed for responsible gun owners who want to build practical skills for protecting themselves and their families. This full‑day program covers defensive shooting techniques, home‑safety strategies, legal considerations, and selecting a handgun for personal protection.
The course includes three hours of advanced firearms training and live‑fire defensive drills, giving students hands‑on experience with movement, defensive accuracy, and safe gun handling under realistic conditions.
Students receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home and an official NRA course completion certificate.
